Civil society organization founded in 1987 that provides free specialized psycho-social-legal support services for women over 18 in situations of domestic violence. Operates in Montevideo and Canelones in partnership with government agencies, offering counseling, advocacy, and support from a gender and human rights perspective.

National child protection hotline operated by INAU (Instituto del Niño y Adolescente del Uruguay). Receives reports of child abuse, maltreatment, sexual abuse, exploitation, and rights violations affecting children and adolescents. Provides diagnostic assessments and coordinates interventions with relevant organizations.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a free fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to recover from alcoholism. AA meetings are held throughout Uruguay, providing peer support for individuals seeking recovery from alcohol addiction. No fees or dues for membership.

Narcotics Anonymous is a free international fellowship of recovering addicts. NA offers peer support to anyone who wants to stop using drugs. Currently has 200 weekly meetings with 70 active groups throughout Uruguay in 14 departments. The NA method relies entirely on mutual support from members - one addict helping another. No fees or dues for membership.
