Terms of Use

talk.help is a free, no-account chatbot for wellbeing and crisis support. By using it, you agree to the following.

  • It's an AI, not a person. Replies are generated by an AI language model. It can get things wrong, and it should not be relied on as fact.
  • It's not a substitute for professional or emergency help. talk.help is not a doctor, therapist, or emergency service, and does not provide medical, legal, or clinical advice. If you're in immediate danger or having a medical emergency, call your local emergency services.
  • Nothing is stored on your device. Your conversation lives only in your browser tab while you use it. Conversations are also logged on our server, encrypted, and kept for a limited time purely for safety and compliance. See our Privacy page for details.
  • Resources are independent. Helplines and services shown here are run by separate organizations. We don't operate them, and we can't guarantee the accuracy or availability of any listed service.
  • Use it in good faith. Please don't try to abuse, overload, or misuse the service. We may apply rate limits to keep it available for everyone.
  • No warranty. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and is offered free of charge.
