Timor-Leste's first dedicated mental health hotline, launched in 2020 by the Ministry of Health, UNICEF, and PRADET. Toll-free 24/7 service staffed by trained mental health counselors providing support, referrals, and information on mental health, maternal/child health, and general health treatment.

National NGO providing free psychosocial support and recovery services. Operates 'Fatin Hakmatek' (Safe Room) facilities in 4 hospitals (Dili, Oecusse, Maliana, Suai) offering trauma counseling, medical forensic examination, and support for survivors of gender-based violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and mental health crises.

Established 1997, FOKUPERS provides comprehensive free support for women and children experiencing gender-based violence: 24-hour emergency support, legal assistance, shelters in Dili and Maliana, trauma healing center, police accompaniment, and court support.

General emergency number for police, ambulance, and fire services in Timor-Leste. Note: Emergency numbers reported as sometimes unreliable; travelers advised to have backup contacts.

Government-run one-stop centers for gender-based violence survivors, operating in 8 municipalities. Provide medical care, psychosocial support, safe shelter, and referrals to counseling and specialized services. EU-UN Spotlight Initiative funded.

Free legal aid service for women and children throughout Timor-Leste, specializing in gender-based violence cases. Provides legal representation, court accompaniment, and advocacy. Active in 13 municipalities with ongoing support for 2,000+ clients.
