Myanmar's FIRST-EVER 24/7 Suicide Prevention Helpline, founded in response to 2021 military coup by social worker Jue Jue Min Thu. Provides three 24/7 helplines: Suicide Prevention Helpline, PSS (Psychosocial Support) Helpline for all ethnic backgrounds, and Disaster Distress Helpline. Also offers individual/couple/group counseling by qualified master-level mental health providers (50-60 min sessions). Contact via Facebook Messenger or direct phone/Telegram. Volunteer-staffed by professionally trained certified volunteers, strictly confidential.

AHRN Myanmar (Asian Harm Reduction Network)

FREE harm reduction and HIV/AIDS services. USAID-funded organization providing drug use and HIV/AIDS, TB prevention, treatment and care, and drug dependency treatment. Services include drop-in centers, community-based outreach, overdose management, medical intervention, counseling, and methadone maintenance therapy. Women-friendly services with trained peers and female outreach workers. Special areas at drop-in centers exclusively for women. Operating since 2003.

FREE online mental health portal created by UNFPA connecting individuals with mental health professionals. Services include basic emotional support, psychological first aid (PFA), counseling, psychotherapy, and psychoeducation. Available in English and Myanmar languages. 10 mental health professionals with diverse backgrounds including clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, and professional counselors. Four specialists focused on children and adolescents. Clients can select preferred professional and make appointments confidentially through portal. Training includes IAT, EMDR, CBT, and interpersonal therapy approaches.

FREE telemedicine platform established under National Unity Government Ministry of Health following military coup. Provides free online medical consultations via Facebook Messenger and Telegram. Services include healthcare consultations, health education, mental health support, and general medical care. Reached 115,399 consultations (March 2023), 10 million Facebook audience reach. Created to address urgent need for accessible medical services for vulnerable populations during political crisis and COVID-19. Consultation booking through Facebook page with patient ID generation.
