The 1929 Call Centre Helpline, operated by the National Child Protection Authority, is a confidential service for child-related inquiries. It can be contacted free of charge from anywhere in the country, 24/7, in Sinhala, Tamil, or English. This service is a point of contact for children and adults reporting child abuse, exploitation, trafficking, and other child protection concerns. Responds to emergency needs of children and links them to appropriate services for long-term care and rehabilitation.

Women In Need (WIN) Hotline

Women In Need (WIN) is a Sri Lankan non-profit addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) against women and girls through support, advocacy, and empowerment. Founded in 1987, WIN is one of Sri Lanka's leading organisations committed to eliminating all forms of violence against women and girls. WIN addresses domestic violence, rape, child abuse, incest, cyber violence, street harassment and other forms of violence. They operate six crisis centres, seven help desks in police stations and seven help desks in hospitals, with a team of 15 lawyers and 24 counsellors who specialise in GBV.
