Open 24/7

Free confidential support to all survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Services include 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter (up to 60 days), crisis counseling, support groups, children and youth programmes, transitional housing, and aftercare. Serves women, men, and children.

RCIPS Child Protection

Open 24/7

Royal Cayman Islands Police Service Protective Services. Child Safeguarding Investigations Unit (CSIU) handles child protection cases. Part of Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). Legal requirement to report suspicion of neglect or abuse of a child.

CayMind - Mental Health Helpline

Free and confidential mental health helpline for adults experiencing mental health concerns, distress, despair or suicidal thoughts. Staffed by Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), the Counselling Centre, and Cayman Islands Psychological Association. Government-run service providing emotional support.

Cayman LGBTQ Foundation

Email helpline - response within 24-48 hours

Free confidential support for LGBTQ+ community. Services include helpline, mental health and wellbeing support, sexual health testing and support, support groups, and advice for tackling hate crime and discrimination. Mission: create safe, inclusive, equitable culture for LGBTQ+ community.

Alcoholics Anonymous Cayman Islands

Various meeting times - check website for schedule

Free fellowship for people who have desire to stop drinking. Mutual support recovery program through 12-step principles. No dues or fees - self-supporting through contributions. Offers various meeting types: literature, Big Book studies, step and tradition meetings, gender-specific meetings. In-person and Zoom meetings available.

Free fellowship for relatives and friends of alcoholics who share experience, strength, and hope. Believes alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery. No dues for membership - self-supporting through voluntary contributions.

Free government counselling services for all residents. Offers individual, couples, and group counselling. Crisis intervention for acute depression, PTSD, suicidal ideation, self-harm. Treatment for depression, anxiety, addictions, family conflicts, grief, trauma. Short-term counselling (8-12 sessions per episode).
