The Victim Support Service offers legal and psychological help, provides information, and coordination for victims of crimes. They support various victim groups, including those based on nationality, religion, or other factors like age and poverty. Services include gender-based violence support, legal counseling/intervention for GBV survivors, and specialized programmes.

National Crisis and Information Provision Phone Service (OKIT) Országos Kríziskezelő és Információs Telefonszolgálat

OKIT is the National Crisis Management and Information Telephone Service whose primary goal is to provide assistance to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, and to arrange for their placement when necessary. The service is available free of charge from Hungary 24 hours a day.

Kék Vonal is a child helpline that provides support, care, and guidance to children, teenagers, and young adults facing various crises. They offer 24-hour free counseling operated by trained counselors who are ready to listen and assist children in Hungary who are in trouble or whose rights have been violated. They also offer services in Ukrainian and Russian for children affected by the war in Ukraine.

The NANE helpline offers a supportive conversation for victims of gender-based violence, including domestic violence, child abuse, sexual violence, and incest. They aim to help callers become conscious of the issue, provide information, map out caller's wants and resources, and bust misconceptions and myths around gender-based violence. They also welcome calls from those close to victims and professionals. The service is free and anonymous. Operating since February 1994.

IOM (International Organization for Migration) Hungary operates free toll-free hotlines supporting people fleeing Ukraine and migrants needing assistance. EMMA Association is a national women's organization that works for the fundamental rights and societal equality of women, paying special attention to gender-based oppression and violence against women during the childbearing and childrearing period. They offer an anonymous information and psychological support line operated by trained volunteer helpers for mothers before and after childbirth, at any stage of motherhood.

Hintalovon's Child Rights Centre provides free, tailor-made legal aid services to affected children and families. They operate an anonymous helpline for children who may have been sexually exploited or abused, and a free anonymous chat service where children can ask questions from trained chat operators relating to their body, sexuality, relationships, mental health, and public life.

Our anonymous hotline answers calls every day (including weekends and holidays) from 18 to 23 PM, especially in topics related to LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, queer and intersexual) issues. Call us if you have life problems related to your sexual orientation or gender identity, experience abuse or discrimination, have legal problems, or need information about LGBTQI events. Our service has been functioning since 1996. Our operators are volunteers, who compile a year-long training.
